The HP ConfigureAIDER which has been used for many years in Australia
and NZ is being replaced.
Due to the growing complexity of the product set, such as Blades, technical and design limitations were starting to prevent full coverage of the ProLiant
product range. In addition, the move to the new HP centralised IT model necessitated
a change to using the HP corporate sales tools.
The replacement tool is called 'HP eConfigure Solutions’ (or eCo)
which has been enhanced specifically for Australian & New Zealand users. It
is now available for Partner
and Customer use. For HP Partners who prefer offline operation Sales Builder for
Windows (SBW v16) is the recommended replacement tool,
available at the Partner Portal.
There are a number of key differences between the HP ConfigureAIDER and
HP eConfigure Solutions (eCo), for more details

Tip: You must select your country to get relevant information. For example, "Australia - English"
Both tools will run in parallel through
July and August, to allow a period of time for adjustment to the new tool. The HP
ConfigureAIDER will be decommissioned on the 1st September 2008.
