A Day of Information, Networking and Updates about modernisation on NonStop.

HP in collaboration with the OZTUG Committee is hosting a thought-provoking day with a packed agenda of vital interest to the NonStop user community.

AOL Case Study - Migration from 40 Sybase Databases to NonStop with No Downtime

Presenter: Rob Lesan, AOL - Live from USA

Targeted at anyone interested in migrating databases to the HP NonStop platform, this session will cover the processes and products AOL used to migrate 40 active Sybase databases to a single NonStop table hosted on four systems with bi-directional replication between the systems, with no outages for consumers during the entire process.

Networking Update

Presenter: John Turnbull, NonStop Technical Consultant , Asia Pacific and Japan

Useful for HP NonStop customers who want to use new networking and storage products on Integrity NonStop systems. HP NonStop products have a new I/O infrastructure built around Cluster I/O Modules (CLIMs) and IPV6.

This session will expand on the three products (IP, Storage, and Telco CLIM), applicable platforms, performance, and plans in-the-works.

Java Development on NonStop Servers Using Open Source Frameworks

Presenter: Tim Keefauver

Learn about NonStop support for four of the most widely adopted open-source frameworks: Spring, Apache Axis2, Java Server Faces, and Hibernate, including the key features of these frameworks with an emphasis on their value propositions-a simple and productive programming model for enterprise Java development.

The benefits of deploying these framework-based applications in a NonStop Java environment will also be discussed, including how to use these frameworks to simplify Java development and deploy applications on NonStop servers.

Compliance Relief is Imminent for NonStop Customers: The HP Compliance Log Warehouse

Presenter: John Turnbull

An effective and usable event log collection infrastructure is requisite for aggregating and processing compliance evidence.

NonStop community members will be able to leverage the power of the CLW to assist them in collecting and managing compliance evidence for the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), and other mandates.

Presenter: David Gillbanks, NonStop Solutions Architect, South Pacific

This session will provide updates on the new features and capabilities of the primary operations management tools used to manage HP NonStop systems. These features include support for the latest NonStop servers and supporting components, and provide enhanced manageability and performance management environment capabilities. Enhanced system and performance management will help increase system uptime and reduce overall cost of ownership.
